This series was painted on stretched canvas.
The themes vary depending that moments inspiration. What remains consistent is my desire to either convey a story or evoke a feeling from the viewer.
The backgrounds for this series was inspired by some paintings that my brother and I did as children.
We managed to get our hands on some firecrackers and discovered a few creative ways to play with them.
We made rockets from tin cans, a working cannon from an old pipe and paintings on canvas. We globed paint al around the firecrackers, lit them and ducked for cover. The results were quite stunning.
This series was painted on back framed Masonite.
The inspiration to finish these with images came about more recently from my love of art deco design. Size 32 x 30 inches
